Angola Oil & Gas, the official meeting place and investment platform for the Angolan oil industry, is back in 2021 for its second edition. In an era of post-COVID-19 recovery, AOG 2021 is a critical event for the government and the private sector to engage, make deals and move forward with national oil and gas projects.

The second edition of the Angola Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition follows a highly successful inaugural event that took place in June 2019, which saw more than 1,700 delegates, 67 speakers, and nearly 50 exhibitors. Officially endorsed by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Petroleum, Angola Oil & Gas 2019 gathered key government officials and executives from across the energy value chain for a week of keynote presentations, moderated panel discussions, exhibitions, networking gatherings, and investment facilitation.

“Angola Oil & Gas 2019 was opened by H.E. João Lourenço President of Angola and H.E. Diamantino Pedro Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources and Petroleum, as well as public sector speeches delivered by H.E. José de Lima Massano, Governor of the National Bank of Angola and Eng. Paulino Jerónimo, CEO of ANPG. Private sector keynotes and appearances were given by Total CEO Patrick Pouyanné and ExxonMobil’s Senior VP of Upstream Oil & Gas Deepwater Hunter Farris, among others.
The 2021 event will expand in size, scale and prestige. Anchored by a VIP program of senior government officials and global CEO’s, Angola Oil & Gas will be the premier gathering for deal-making and networking. Discussion points include offshore oil and gas exploration and licensing, gas monetization, market entry, doing business in Angola and digitalization and technology. New to the conference will be a Digitalization and Technology forum; a showcase on the exhibition floor of advanced technology pioneered in Angola.”
