Libya Special Report 2020

Libya is home to the largest recoverable reserves on the continent, with an
estimate of more than 48 billion barrels. The country’s vast and underexplored basins have gained the interest of major operators, as the North African producer seeks to boost oil output in the long-term. The Libya 2020 report focuses on the country’s bid to further develop its oil and gas sector. Libya’s National Oil Corporation has invited international
exploration and production companies to participate in the country’s third licensing bid round for exploration and production-sharing agreements covering various basins.
