Angola 2020

In the second edition of Africa Energy Series: Angola 2020, Africa Oil & Power returns to share the narrative that is currently shaping the Angolan energy sector, centered on driving upstream exploration, awarding nine on- and off-shore oil and gas blocks, creating downstream refining capacity and undertaking a global investment drive while facing industry-wide challenges produced by COVID-19. With the recent reappointment of H.E. Diamantino Azevedo as Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, Angola continues to undergo ambitious reform and develop its large-scale investments, including the construction of gas-to-power infrastructure, renewable energy development, a 2020 oil and gas licensing round and extension of block licenses, in a bid to bring production back into an upswing.

AES Angola 2020 will be launching soon.
